The Stratford Backyard highlights artists from the Stratford area. Hosted by Steve Rae, each performer gets their share of centre stage as well as assisting each other musically.

Performers include:

Steve Rae (host) is a singer/songwriter known for his tributes of Gordon Lightfoot, Stan Rogers, Harry Chapin and Jimmy Buffett. But it’s as a songwriter that he excels, writing poignantly about family history, things Canadian and the human condition.

Brad Canning started playing drums and guitar at the age of 11. By the age of 12 he was already performing. He wrote his first song at 17. He performs with his brother Brock.

Barbara Fulton is a singer of tremendous versatility. She has performed predominantly in the theatre where she has been a cast member at the Stratford Festival for sixteen seasons.
Her association with Stratford began in 1991 when she landed a part in Carousel.

Paul Shilton is a man of immense musical ability. Usually the quiet, behind the scenes pianist, he also plays a variety of other instruments including the stand-up bass.

Strings ‘N Traps -Chris Adair, Jeff McIntyre and Tim Carroll wowed audiences of Live @ City Hall last year as the opening act for  Roxanne Potvin.
